The Client

Our client is a Medical Device manufacturer that has been established for over 60 years. They now employ over 2500 team members and their products are available in over 80 countries and they’re still growing, especially in Europe. They are now looking to establish a new division that will enable them to sell their products directly to the UK & Ireland market, as opposed to using 3rd party suppliers.

The Role

Due to their commitment to Europe, they are now looking for a Logistics Operators to join the team, this to ensure that they are set & ready for global distribution from their new site near Dublin Airport. Some of your duties and responsibilities will include: -

  • Maintain and optimise the processes of product acquisition, storage, and transport.
  • Correspond the preparation, transmission, entry, and assortment of the order.
  • Receive and validate finished/semi-finished products from production and ensure that quality of goods received is being maintained. 
  • Received transfer sheet shall be checked and tallied with the product endorsed by the production.
  • Responsible for operating forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Proper packaging of finished/semi-finished must be maintained and directly organised as required.
  • Ensure that final packaging of finished products is being done before the schedule date of cargo pick up.
  • Ensure outbound shipment is accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties.
  • Packing and labeling of finished products.
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the Logistics Manager.

The Candidate

It is likely that the successful candidate will :-

Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of1 to 2-years’ experience in Logistics
  • Be experienced in using a Forklift
  • Be able to carry equipment and materials up to 30kg
  • Be proficient in MS office applications
  • Possess excellent oral and communications skills
  • Be a good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
