Senior Scientist Immunology

Our client is a well-established London based biologics company with strong expertise in the development of cancer therapeutics. The company is going through an exciting period of growth following recent investment and as such, the opportunity for exposure and development is strong.

A brand-new opening has arisen for a Senior Scientist to manage projects and carry out cutting edge research work.

Key responsibilities/duties

• Design, develop and execute in vitro/ in vivo immunology studies
•  Manage outsourced CROs/ collaborators and design in vivo work for them
• Contribute to research planning for preclinical development and product development
• Stay up to date with latest developments in immuno-oncology field
• Mentor junior immunology team members

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in Immunology or related subject
• Minimum 2 years+ postdoctoral experience in immunology topics
• Good technical knowledge of in vitro assays; FACS, ELISPOT, ELISA, cytokine assays
• Applicants must have had some previous experience with in vivo research
• Specific experience with tumour models would be ideal but can be trained
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
