Accounts Administrator

Are you an organised, confident multitasker who loves keeping a business running smoothly? This varied Accounts & Administration role sits at the heart of a busy office and is perfect for someone who enjoys a blend of finance tasks, customer interaction and general office support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing customer and vendor setup on the ERP system
  • Raising invoices, sending proformas and overseeing the sales ledger
  • Handling the purchase ledger using a digital invoice system
  • Sending monthly statements and supporting credit control
  • Processing credit card payments and maintaining proformas
  • Supporting month-end rollover
  • Performing credit checks
  • Uploading meter readings
  • Providing general administration
  • Managing the switchboard, redirecting calls and greeting visitors
  • Handling post, filing and answerphone
  • Assisting with internal events/breakfasts
  • Offering additional support to other departments as needed

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent telephone manner and confident communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Outlook and Excel
  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ approach
  • Someone able to manage their own workload independently while also contributing positively to a team
