The Role

As Configuration Controller, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of technical product data and customer enquiries. Day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Setting up part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the MRP system
• Handling technical queries from customers
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Supporting the sales and purchasing teams with supplier identification
• Leading or supporting product inspection activities when required

About You

You may already have experience as a Configuration Controller, Product Manager, Information Manager, or in a similar technical support role, but most importantly you’ll bring:

• An interest in electronic components and how they’re used
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confidence in reading technical information and drawings
• A proactive, enquiring approach to solving problems
• Good communication skills to support colleagues and customers
